Blessed with a moderate climate that varies quite dramatically across the country, from the cool damp of Brittany to the dry heat of Provence, France has nonetheless succeeded in creating a breakfast for all places and all seasons. It is rooted in a deceptive simplicity, a cup of strong coffee and a rich, soft but crispy croissant. But of course, there is so much more to it than that, and at Khéma our team of dedicated bakers have become experts in creating all the things that make up the perfect French breakfast.
There is, of course, the famous Croissant, but if you prefer something a little sweeter and tenderer then it is impossible to bypass a Raisin Roll, or perhaps a Cinnamon Roll, Sacristain Twist or a Chocolatine with a bar of rich chocolate running through it. We also have Brioches, three kinds of brioche in fact, for those who appreciate soft, tender things. /p>
And our menu would not be complete if it did not offer some of France’s most renowned breads. From the Baguette Tradition with its delicious, slightly sour, flavour that it shares with our Sourdoughs, made with the same levain. We have breads for every taste though, including Baguette Campaillette, Farmers’ Loaves, and a rich, nutty Dark Rye Sour Loaf. And there are of course more.
