Has it really already been a year? It must be true what they say about time flying when you’re having fun. This month, one very busy year ago, Khéma La Poste opened its doors to the public for the first time and joined the increasingly vibrant hum of the Postal district to the north of Phnom Penh city. To help celebrate this proud milestone, we’re offering every one of our customers a free croissant or pain au chocolate with their coffee orders (to have in or take away).

And if it’s your birthday this month, we have a Very special gift for you too. Since you can’t possibly have a birthday without cake, we’re also offering a free Birthday Cake with every birthday party or table reservation for the whole month of October. As they say in France, Joyeux Anniversaire!!

Khéma La Poste is proud of its place in the north of the city. The former colonial administrative centre of Phnom Penh is enjoying a steady resurgence with more shops, cafés, bars and restaurants starting to see the benefits of establishing in a quieter part of the city that retains a lot of Phnom Penh’s old-world charm. At Khéma, we’re delighted to be part of the movement injecting fresh, new life into this part of the city, which fell a little to the wayside as history played out on its streets.

Today, though, it is very much in step with a city on the up and up, which befits a building that played such a central role in connecting Phnom Penh with the rest of Cambodia and the world in its former incarnation as the headquarters of Les Messageries Fluviales de Cochinchine.

But the future lies before us, and of one thing you can be certain, we’ll be serving some of Phnom Penh’s tastiest, freshest croissants and pains au chocolate this month, and they’re all yours for free with your coffee. Don’t wait to get yours!
